Alongside writing children's books, I also also make a living from words in other lovely jobs, from copywriting to working as a Lecturer for Creative Writing.

Raised in many different homes in the North, and a Londoner for two decades, I now live near Bath with my family, one very chatty kitten, and possibly also a few friendly ghosts. 

Likes: a bear, every bear; history; the sea; trees; old films; and researching the correlation between writing and eating chocolate. And, of course ... books!

A gripping story of myth and mystery about a legendary mermaid and her dark power. When the truth comes out, will it bring freedom or a terrible retribution?
